September update

This month started off very interesting. At the end of August, Erich was diagnosed with appendicitis. It took a couple of weeks for the official diagnosis. He came through surgery without a problem. Family and friends pitched in to help with the kids. He wasn't allowed to pick up anything over 10 lbs for a week afterwards. With him keeping Mae during the work week, this posed a problem. We are very blessed with a loving support system. He is back to 100% and relieved the pain is gone. Logan started kindergarten and is doing well in school. He enjoys it and loves playing with his buddy Taylor. She takes really good care of him and watches out for him. Thanks Tay! He is also playing soccer and WOW is he good. I am not just the bragging mom. He runs his heart out. His aim is not so good yet, but that will come in time. We really enjoy going to see his games as a family. Mae even cheers on from the side lines Go! Go! Go! This month Erich and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We are looking forward to celebrating together. I cannot put into words my feelings. Excitement, amazement, proud, sense of accomplishment, looking forward to many more years together. It is all of that and more. I think awe is another good word. Here's to the next 10!
